Laura's set-stalking adventure

Laura from His Crooked Smiles caught up with Rob yesterday who smiled at her. Here's a snippet- go to Radar Online for more and for the video!

When the cameras weren't on him, Rob just seemed to be looking down at his feet, and concentrating (maybe on tuning everybody out - I wonder whether he's speculated at taking the London stage role because he's so used to acting with a large immediate audience) and, of course, doing everyone's favourite hands-through-the-hair move *swoon* I kept expecting him to light up too but where's a guy in NYC going to have a smoke?!

I did feel bad for Rob with all the attention - it must make it hard to concentrate - but when he walked past again later and looked up and smiled, it was definitely a genuine smile not a "yeah, thanks - whatevs"... or maybe he just heard my British accent ;)

Elena meets Peter Facinelli. True story.

Elena over at Robsten Lovers took her kiddos in tow to meet Peter Facinelli at his book signing yesterday. Here are the basics- check out their site for the whole scoop:

We sat in line just around an hour or so and it went fast because of ridiculous conversation going on between us. It was also helpful when we befriended a security guard who thought my daughter was adorable. Shortly after making friendly with the guard guy, an Affliction store employee and another guard walk over and ask if we want to go straight into the store because Peter didn't want babies waiting in line.

This was the highlight of our trip, second only to meeting Peter himself. It literally saved us well over an hour standing in line. What made it funnier was that earlier, I had mentioned that I should take the baby with me to all Twilight events because her cute face could open doors that otherwise wouldn't have been open. Obviously, I was right.

Because there were so many people, he couldn't do "posed" photos, but we were allowed to take pics of him while we waited for autographs.

Is this maddening? Sickening? Makes me glad to be across the country, away from temptation...

JennyJerkface from Twitarded was on the scene however, and reports:

It all started because STY kept sending me emails urging me to go down and check out the filming. At first I said no because it was a whopping 10 blocks from my office and I'm astonishingly lazy. But that bitch is relentless so I agreed to go.
Oh, and RPattz, if you're reading this, I was older, short chick in the plaid dress with the tattoo on my forearm. Because, you know, I'm classy like that.

Alas- Which vamp do I chat it up with first? A fan encounter like no other

Such was Laura's dilemma at the Darling Buds concert where Jamie Campbell Bower was writhing on stage while British bud Charlie Bewley watched from the sidelines.

Laura, of His Crooked Smile, had a close encounter with both Jamie (Caius) and Charlie (Demetri). Here's a snippet-check out Jamie's jam session over at Radar Online!


After a couple of songs, he (Jamie) asked if anyone had something he could drink since his throat was really dry, so I handed him my water bottle (I was standing so close and no one else was offering). He said something to the effect of “thank you – sorry, that’s really gross of me isn’t it?” to which I joked “are you suggesting I’m gross?!” and he said “nono, you’re gorgeous for lending me your drink” (random use of the word “gorgeous” much, anyone?!) as he handed it back, but I said “I can’t take it now – everyone here will think I’m weird for wanting it back” and he replied “nono, I don’t think you’re weird – please, it’s yours” by which time the drummer, Dan was like “I’ll have it!” – it was all very amusing!

After the show, we waited for him to pack up and say hello to some industry types - that’s when we first spotted Charlie Bewley (“Demetri” in New Moon – bad vampire double bonus!) coming up to the stage to congratulate his friend on the great gig. Charlie saw me spot him and looked like he was waiting for me to do something, but I just smiled casually - I wanted to say hi to Jamie first: I’d see about Charlie later!

There is the clock tower at midday, a newly installed gutter, and a pictures of a statue taken today in the city hall. It seems that it could be of a saint or something of that kind.

After our user, Alice, took the picture they made her exit the city hall saying that she wasn't allowed to take pictures.

Bella Bedroom Scenes. Check.

Twilight Gossip was on the prowl after Lainey Gossip reported:

“Shooting Bella bedroom scenes. He goes through her photos and she cries and mopes some more when there are no photos. Also something about her opening her eyes and there he is beside her waiting for her to wake up. Pattinson is concurrently continuing green screen work with the other vampires.”

The Twi-Gossip Gals decided to see for themselves and report back that, indeed, cameras are strategically placed inside Bella's room. Says Twilight Gossip, "From the picture below you will see that there’s some type of camera equipment from one of the windows in Bella’s house."

Peter, Kellan, and Edi Play Around with Vibrating Edward. Yes. You Read That Correctly.

A mature Twi-Mom and Facebook friend of mine, Jennifer, had the *fabulous* idea of transforming *Pocket* Edward into Vibrating Edward (note black battery pack). She brought him to the Twi-Con L.A. event.

Jennifer was one of five chicks to win lunch with Peter Facinelli. While the lunch date was a *private* affair, here's the overview of her "Vibrating Edward" experience:


As for Vibrating Pocket Edward, I was the first of my entourage of girlfriends to ask for autographs, and being the sales person that I am, I came in w/my great opener: "Will you sign my Vibrating Pocket Edward?" Edi Gathegi was quite speechless and made a big show of putting anti-bacterial on, at which point Kellan Lutz asked if he was putting on lube.

I was so nervous, I was probably blushing like Bella too. Edward was buzzing quite powerfully the entire time, and all the actors played around w/him and asked how we came up w/the idea. This was a rudimentary design, though, so I promised he would be more "user-friendly" by TwiCon SF.

I didn't show Edward off to Peter till the autograph session, and he looked at me like he was thinking "You seemed normal at lunch, and you show up w/a vibrating doll?" If anyone brings up this story to these guys, they'll remember for sure. We stopped the line cold during the autograph signing w/all the yells and whoops, even security came over to touch Edward.
