Rob says Breaking Dawn hinges on his schedule

Rob tells The Hollywood Reporter that he is committed to starring in the final movie in the Twilight Saga, "Breaking Dawn" outing to date but doesn't know when backers Summit Entertainment will begin production because of the actor's fully-loaded shooting schedule.

According to THR:

Dropping in on the Croisette on the way to shooting the final four days of "New Moon" in Italy on Friday, Pattinson said he is heading back to Vancouver in October to finish up "Twilight: Eclipse," the third installment. In between, the British actor, who turned 23 last week, plans to star in "Remember Me," which Summit also is producing.

The script adaptation for "New Moon" beefs up his character's role considerably -- in the book, Edward is a "a voice in Bella's head," he said.

Said Pattinson, laughing: "You're playing a figment in Bella's imagination so I was trying to do it in a 2-D way. I hope it doesn't translate onscreen as being boring." The hardworking actor is taking a few days off after completing "New Moon" before the start of the "Remember Me" shoot. He plans three days off after an eight-week planned shoot for "Remember Me" before finishing "Eclipse" before October.

Pattinson said "Remember Me" is very difficult to describe but said it is very much about him and, after reading the script last summer, felt a connection with it. The main protagonist is a 23-year-old man who spends six weeks after meeting someone working out if he is in love or not.

Though IMDB is not ALWAYS the most reliable of sites, this news, if true, is pretty exciting...

The Rated R Controversy of Breaking Dawn- A MUST read before bed!

Goodness-I've been under a rock today- how the heck did I miss Twitarded's post today?

Warning- It's rated R for Rawr and, well, because it's simply rated R for language and content. I'll spill the less "meaty" parts here; go over there to LOL for realz.

First things first - let's discuss the actual 'doing' part of gettin' diggity with it. I know Bella woke up all kinds of bruised (personally, I think this is merely a mark of a good night) but that's all? Really?

Bella - Are you sure we're supposed to be doing it this way? I think they do it the other way in movies...
Edward - I don't know. This is how Jasper explained it to me...

Get inside Melissa Rosenberg's head

E! Online brings tidings of great joy from screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who tells Twilighters:

Even though Edward Cullen may not be in the New Moon novel as much as he is in the others, she promised we’ll be seeing plenty of the Brit actor in the flick, which is currently shooting in Vancouver with director Chris Weitz.

“In the book, he’s actually an enormous presence in [Bella’s] mind,” Rosenberg said. “He’s so present in her mind throughout the entire center of the book, so we really played off that, and it kept him alive in a slightly different way, but fans will feel it’s true to the book. You can’t have a Twilight without Rob Pattinson.”

And Rosenberg says you also can’t have a Twilight movie with anything more adult than a PG-13 rating. She has yet to be hired to write the script for the fourth, Breaking Dawn, but she thinks it’s safe to assume the book’s more graphic violent scenes will be tailored to keep it accessible for Twilight’s teen moviegoing audience.

“Our fans are in the PG age range, and I don’t feel a big necessity to see violence, and to see gore,” Rosenberg said. “I don’t need to see that. This whole series is more about their relationship. It’s not about the gore. I mean, there are some scary and special elements to it, but the series is really about relationships and coming of age and owning one’s power.”

Rumor Control: Breaking Dawn Still Unconfirmed, says screen writer Melissa Rosenberg

Though The Wrap reported yesterday:
With the sequel to the blockbuster hit "New Moon" now filming in Vancouver and its sequel, "Eclipse," already deep in the planning stages, an individual close to the production has told TheWrap that work on the fourth and final in the series, "Breaking Dawn," will start in late spring 2010.

Melissa Rosenburg, the main source and goddess of Twilight script writing, has squelched that theory:
“The most I’ve heard from Summit is ‘re-read it and start thinking about it,’” says Rosenberg, who is completing her show-running duties on the fourth season of the Showtime series Dexter. More telling, she hasn’t yet received one of the manifestos Meyer famously puts together before Rosenberg begins turning one of her books into a movie. Another source is also skeptical that Summit is far along in developing a fourth film. “As far as I know, Stephenie was still having meetings asking, ‘Can we really make this into a movie?’”

I'm having those same questions- HOW can Breaking Dawn be made into a movie?

Salt Lake School Denies Book Ban, says Stewart

I just happened upon a not-so interesting story from the Salt Lake Tribune... with a hilarious twist.

Seems that parents at Brockbank Junior High are up in arms over the sexual content in Stephenie Meyer's fourth Twilight Saga book, Breaking Dawn:

"Officials at the Magna school purchased copies of the book some time ago, but as of Wednesday hadn't placed them on library shelves. Principal Terri Van Winkle would not say whether the delay stemmed from a parent's complaint about a honeymoon scene in which sex is implied between the central characters Bella and Edward. But Granite School District officials confirm a complaint was voiced.

"Meanwhile, the school has ignored repeated complaints from another parent "appalled" by the "censorship" of a book she says promotes chastity and tolerance.

"Those are values I want my children to be taught," said Kris Jensen of Magna. "My 15-year-old has read the book. I've read the book and there isn't anything inappropriate."

"Granite district spokesman Ben Horsley downplayed the book ban as fiction."
