Tonner dolls feature Rachelle aka Victoria- snap this up, folks!

Dread Central reports this sick, ironic release:

Tonner Doll Company was the first collectibles outfit to recognize the potential of the Twilight franchise and (along with some prodding from Dread toy junkies) quickly jumped at the chance to bring this world of supernatural beings into their family of licenses. To date only Edward and Bella have been realized in doll form, but as the Dread crew closed up shop at San Diego Comic-Con, our excellent Tonner friends flagged us down for a sneak preview of what's to come. Tonner's Victoria Doll from Twilight

Say hello to James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi), and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre, soon to be replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard, however)!

The Gloves Come off...

Twilight Victoria by rabbitslikecarrots.

Rachelle's Response:

"I was stunned by Summit 's decision to recast the role of Victoria for Eclipse, Lefevre said in a statement to “I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria . I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules.

My commitment to Barney's Version is only ten days. Summit picked up my option for Eclipse. Although the production schedule for Eclipse is over three months long, Summit said they had a conflict during those ten days and would not accommodate me. Given the length of filming for Eclipse, never did I fathom I would lose the role over a 10 day overlap. I was happy with my contract with Summit and was fully prepared to continue to honor it. Summit chose simply to recast the part.

I am greatly saddened that I will not get to complete my portrayal of Victoria for the Twilight audience. This is a story, a theatrical journey and a character that I truly love and about which I am very passionate. I will be forever grateful to the fan support and loyalty I've received since being cast for this role, and I am hurt deeply by Summit 's surprising decision to move on without me. I wish the cast and crew of Eclipse only the very best."

Summit's Statement

"We at Summit Entertainment are disappointed by Rachelle Lefevre’s recent comments which attempt to make her career choices the fault of the Studio," the letter begins.

" Her decision to discuss her version of the scheduling challenges publicly has forced the Studio to set the record straight and correct the facts."

And, oh yes, there are bullet points:

• Ms. Lefevre's representatives were advised as early as April that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE was expected to start shooting in early August. • If Ms. Lefevre was, as she describes “passionate,” about being part of THE TWILIGHT SAGA, we feel that she and her representatives would have included us in her decision to work on another film that would conflict with the shooting schedule of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. • It was not until July 20th that Summit was first informed of Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to BARNEY’S VERSION, a commitment we have since been advised she accepted in early June. Summit had acted in good faith that she would be available to fulfill her obligations both in terms of rehearsals and shooting availability for THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. We feel that her choice to withhold her scheduling conflict information from us can be viewed as a lack of cooperative spirit which affected the entire production. • Furthermore Ms. Lefevre took a role in the other film that places her in Europe during the required rehearsal time, and at least ten days of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE’s principal photography. This period is essential for both rehearsal time with the cast, and for filming at key locations that are only available during the initial part of production. • Contrary to Ms. Lefevre’s statement, it is simply untrue that the Studio dismissed her over a ten day overlap. It is not about a ten day overlap, but instead about the fact that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is an ensemble production that has to accommodate the schedules of numerous actors while respecting the established creative vision of the filmmaker and most importantly the story. The fact remains that Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to the other project - which she chose to withhold from Summit until the last possible moment - makes her unfortunately unavailable to perform the role of Victoria in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE.

From the Lexicon:

We have been asked by people how to contact Summit Entertainment. Their address is a matter of public record:

Summit Entertainment
1630 Stewart Street, Suite 120
Santa Monica, CA 90404

It’s our personal opinion that actual mail vs. email makes more of an impact. It’s easy to discard email with a simple click whereas it’s difficult to ignore the presence of physical mail, especially in volumes.

Internet petitions, while well intentioned, don’t work because it’s too easy to fake signatures, and for that reason management teams tend to not take them seriously.

We are currently tracking down a contact address for Rachelle that is for fans. Until we get it, you can reach her at her Twitter.

Here is Rachelle’s fanmail address(via Twilight Series Theories). Again though Tweeting is nice, you are limited to 140 characters. An actual card or letter we believe would have more of an impact.

Victoria replaced? Say it ain't so!

Los Angeles, CA July 28, 2009 Summit Entertainment announced today that Bryce Dallas Howard will take over the role of "Victoria" in the studio's upcoming production of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. Actress, Rachelle Lefevre, who portrayed the character in TWILIGHT as well as the upcoming release of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, will not continue in the role due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment the actor has made. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE will start filming in Vancouver this coming August.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third film in the studio's TWILIGHT film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer's blockbuster book series, will be directed by David Slade from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg. The film will be released theatrically i
n North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

"We are incredibly happy that Bry has agreed to come into the franchise,"said Erik Feig, Summit's President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions. "Rachelle brought "Victoria" to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."

Howard most recently starred in TERMINATOR SALVATION as Kate Connor and has been seen in SPIDER-MAN 3, LADY IN THE WATER, and THE VILLAGE. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her leading performance as an actress in the HBO film AS YOU LIKE IT.

THR reports: The studio attributed the move to scheduling conflicts. The actress was recently cast in the indie drama "Barney's Version" opposite Dustin Hoffman, which also has an Aug. 17 start date, only several thousand kilometers east, in Quebec.

MSN has Superfan Interviews for you Superfans!

So I'm driving down the road in my van - riding actually, my sis was driving - with my laptop (expecting a client call) and reading aloud the AMAZING MSN Superfan interview with Chris Weitz, which made both my sis and me squeal with delight at the details for New Moon (to which my daughter just rolled her eyes). So much to look forward to and stay alert - so many spoilers to come!

The latest is the Superfan interview with Victoria - I mean, Rachel LeFevre, which dishes some great deets too:

So we get to see you jump from 25 feet up in a tree down to the ground?
There’s leaping off trees to the ground. There’s leaping up in the air from trees to other trees. I was about 40 feet up just hanging out, looking like I was just kind of standing there. There’s a lot of that. And then my stunt double, who spent 5 years with Cirque du Soleil, did some very cool like, backflips and things like that on the wires. Yeah, getting thrown around by werewolves. So you’d be like, in one place one minute and then they pull the…you’re like hooked up to wires…and then they’ll pull the wires and then you get yanked up flying into the air and your body’s folded in half. It’s very cool."

All I can say is. . .WOW!!! Check out the full story here - and don't forget the interviews with Chris Weitz and Taylor Lautner there also!

Alison's set-stalking Adventures

Alison from Twi-Fans (yes, the same Alison who won Stephenie Myer's prom dress at Project Book Babe) hit the motherload during her recent Vancouver set-stalking adventure:

Finally- Decent shoes.
For you fashion-conscious gals, Rachelle LeFevre is wearing Steve Madden flats, while Selena Gomez rock the boots by Frye Ava. MUCH better than the funky tennies worn by Kristen, Nikki and Taylor. Egads.

Robert Pattinson Sounds Super Smexy when he Swears

That's the first thing that crossed my mind when I read this from yet another Twi-cast stalker, who was fortunate enough to grab pics with RPattz, Rachelle, and Jackson at the 100 Monkeys concert:

One of the daughters of the ladies from Tennessee asked rob if he can hold her like he held bella in the movie poster.. in which he responded with a “FUCK NO”.

Rachelle LeFevre aka Victoria came out to take some pictures. She was an absolute sweetheart. I told her her hair was fucking fierce and she laughed and said thanks:

Then the almighty jackson rathbone came out in all his confederate, mohawk glory to take pictures like he promised. I guess the word spread that he was taking pictures behind the theatre and a whole swarm of girls came from the theatre to take pictures with him. I wish I got a pic of his reaction.. it was clearly one of “oh shit”. But I managed to take quick picture.

Thanks to Robsessed and TwiCrack for the tip!

Photos and Video of Twi-Crew in VanCity- Oh my!

A Twilight-Gossip fan had the night of her life last night schmoozing with super smexy smelling Robert Pattinson and red-head beauty Rachelle LeFevre:

Last night at the Rio, a lucky fan got to meet the sexy Robert Pattinson. Here is what she had to say about her experience;

“…you’re not gonna believe what happened to me tonight my dream came true!!! I FINALLY MET MY SEXY VAMPIRE i met Robert Pattinson…”

“…and then Rachelle came out to talk to Robert and we took pictures with her too !!! OMG I LOVE HER HAIR!!!!! …”

“…MAN PEOPLE R STUPID HE SMELLS FINE!!! he smelled sexyy”

Nikkie, Kristen and Taylor hung out to watch Sage from the Dills perform last night; VanCity Allie got some pics and a video (vid is blackened; look for Nikki on the left and Taylor on the right during camera flashes):

Sage serenades Taylor Lautner

Near the end of the night, Sage serenaded and sang to Taylor. It was really cute. Taylor looked very casual and cool in a plaid shirt, distressed jeans, and rockin’ plaid sneakers.

Shooting Schedule Round-Up and the prettiest redhead around

Lainey gives up the Twi-Crew shooting schedule deets:

Monday this week,Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson were all on set by dawn. Very, very early starts to shoot on the edge of the woods.

There’s a tense discussion between the three of them, then Taylor/Jacob leaves and wolf-transforms, then between KS and RP it gets kinda romantic as there’s talk of a wedding. Or something. They are shooting several options for a proposal, this is one of them – you’ll have to wait to see which they end up choosing.

These scenes were shot over the course of two days. They wrapped Monday afternoon, then went right back at it Tuesday morning. Once again, all three actors were picked up before 6am and worked steady for 12 hours. Also present: several adult fans taking the day off, hanging out all day in the hopes of catching a glimpse of their favourites driving by.

Wednesday night and Thursday night it’s been evening shoots at the Cullen House, working until almost daybreak for all vampires and Kristen Stewart. More of the same tonight (Friday).
Fresh photos of Rachelle Lefevre taken yesterday, in town to work on scenes for New Moon. Who could miss that hair? Am told Rachelle will be filming at the Cullen House tonight.

Victoria Gets Dark Action, Vampire-y Stuff to Keep Fans Happy

Rachelle Lefevre spilled details to about her level of involvement in New Moon:

"The books are all from Bella's point of view," says LeFevre. "So there are things in New Moon that get talked about and are referred to, but don't get described. Victoria spends all of New Moon trying to get to Bella. As a result, she fights werewolves and has encounters. They've basically tried to show more for the film. We want to keep the love triangle going, but we've kept more of the dark action, vampire-y stuff to keep those fans happy."

Victoria by musicgrl87.
Lefevre added she'll be heading up to Vancouver in mid-April and is "stoked to work with [director] Chris [Weitz]. It's been different with him because he has tremendous respect for the fact that something has come before. He now has to pay heed to the books and what Catherine [Hardwicke] did so hard to cultivate. He's done an amazing job of incorporating ideas almost seamlessly into what is what the fans are expecting and love."

Eek! That last line makes me tingly all over- can't wait!

Twilight Stars Tire of Paps... with good reason, I might add...

The cast of the Twilight Saga had no idea what they were in for last year. Not even D-listers back then, they shot a low-budget cult flick, simply expecting to add one more notch to their list of credits.

Just a scant year later, the entire cast has been plunged into the constant limelight, a frenzy of fans and a franchise spun out of control, offering up everything ranging from candy hearts, to cardboard cutouts, to board games.. anything to satiate rabid fans.

So just how do they feel about the never-ending snap of the flash from stalker paparazzi?
Twilight cast by eny_widiya.

"It's kind of bizarre," says Ashley Greene. "We would walk out of our hotel, and there would be people there taking pictures, and the [headline] would be, like, 'Jackson and Ashley Get Coffee!'

"You know what? They are so much more polite in Canada," Greene observed, comparing her recent interactions. "I think that everyone in Canada is more polite, and the paparazzi are even polite to you. It's kind of bizarre."

Edi Gathegi speculated that a mole may be in their midst, leaking details about the casts' every move. "There is a mole, and the mole is feeding information," Gathegi marveled, remembering recent pictures of the group flying out of Vancouver last week. "[The paparazzi] took pictures of every single one of us leaving the airport! It's like, how are they getting this information?"

"A year later, it's starting to hit me how huge this thing is," Gathegi said of all the attention sure to surround them as they reconvene on the "New Moon" set this week. "You really have to pay attention to what you look like when you leave your house, because you will be up on a blog site within minutes." (Note: guilty as charged. Sorry guys.)

At Kitson this weekend, three of the vamp actors were caught on film. One photographer was seen driving with his right hand and simultaneously pointing his camera out the window with his left. Another, parked in a red zone, dropped the flatbed portion of his truck, stood on it and quickly snapped photos of Rachelle Lefevre, Kellan Lutz and Greene before speeding off.

Kellan Lutz reveals that they are beginning to take matters into their own hands.

"It's funny. Edi and myself have been messing with them," Kellan Lutz said of recent pictures that include him taking photos of the photographers. "It's great; we have been doing some pranks on them. I can't really share any, but a lot of the pictures are planned."

"There is having your picture taken nicely at an event, and then there is having your picture taken at 5 in the morning in front of Starbucks when you're not even awake," Lefevre explained of the stars' current, increasingly tumultuous relationship with the paparazzi. "I think the truth is that it's unavoidable. If we could cultivate some sort of a mutual respect, that would be ideal. But somehow, that doesn't seem like it's gonna go down."

Note: At our DVD release party this weekend, I just ranted about how protective I feel for Robert Pattinson. I suppose they all were plunged into this chaos, but he particularly has been burdened with becoming a pop icon overnight, which seems to chafe against everything he knows. My heart is truly with him, and I hope the paps leave him alone so he can once again transform into the broody Edward we need to see in New Moon. Leave that darling Britt boy be!

The Dish on Who was Where for DVD Release Parties- RPattz and KStew No-Shows

Salt Lake City
Hundreds of moms and daughters flocked to the
Riverton Wal-Mart in Salt Lake City where Rachelle Lefevre made an appearance.

Lefevre, who plays the evil vampire Victoria, signed autographs and expressed surprise at the turnout. "This is just unbelievable," Lefevre said. "You get better at handling it, your lip doesn't quiver anymore, but the excitement never, ever goes away."

She said she was "flattered" to be chosen to go to Utah, where "Twilight" author Stephanie Meyer hails from. Fans said they "bitten," a term Twilighters use to refer to their rabid attraction to the books and film. "Every girl wants to find her Edward," said one fan.

Rachelle- InStyle photoshoot by [AP|Fashionist].

New York City
Edi Gathegi was at the Penn Plaza Borders store in New York City. The Borders employees held a scavenger hunt and trivia contest for the nearly 500 fans who made the party.

Los Angeles

Ashley Greene was in the Los Angeles making the rounds and surprising fans. Fans filling the mall screamed like crazy as the party got ready to start and got louder when the crowd learned a cast member was going to be there.

Nikki Reed showed up at a Hot Topics store in Chicago. Fans report that she was super sweet. She told fans how much she appreciated every one coming out and how she loved her fans. “She looked like she was about to cry! She was absolutely gorgeous and so thankful for everything!” one fan reported.

From Twilight Lexicon

Hardwicke stopped at the Dallas store about 11:30pm, answered a few questions, and stayed past 1:00 am signing autographs.

Where in the world are your favorite Twi-Cast members roaming?

Ashley Green

Ashley Greene was at Hot Topic in Hollywood- Moon and UC at Letters to Rob had the chance to meet up with her...

Seriously, amazing night. I was high on adreneline and that’s the only reason I wasn’t falling asleep standing up. Thanks to Ashley Greene for being your adorable, awesome self. Thanks to Moon for not eating dinner and running all over town to ensure we had an amazing night- plus putting the Edward Cullen PillowCase on the bed to welcome me to your home.

Kellan, Rachelle, and Ashley (making the rounds!)

Saturday afternoon, Kellan, Rachelle and Ashley made a stop at Shop Kitson in West Hollywood to promote the Twilight DVD and their Twilight Tees.

Award of the night, or perhaps the year, for most caring Twi-Cast Member....

Peter Facinelli

From Becky G posted at TwiCrack:

Friday at 7pm: Peter Facinelli aka Dr. Cullen attended a free screening of Twilight at Fort Lewis Washington base. Theater attendance was free to all military and their dependents. After the screening, Peter did a Q&A for all attending.

Saturday from 9:30am to 10:30pm: Peter stayed to do autographs and pictures. He did this without lunch or dinner he spent quality time with his fans and there was no limit on how many items you wanted signed. He also took pictures with his fans as well, and Peter canceled his flight tonight due to the overwhelming amount of fans that were in attendance; he refused to leave until all fans were able to have their DVDs signed.

Peter said he was given a choice of coming to a DVD signing in Chicago or Fort Lewis , and he chose Fort Lewis as he wanted to thank soldiers and families for their service. I witnessed Peter thank and shake every soldiers hand that came thru the line I commend peter for his time. He is truly the most classy and giving of any of the cast of the Twilight series. I personally stood in line from 11am to 8pm to get a signature and behind me were probably 100 more fans.

Thanks so much to Cullen Boys Anonymous for the tips!

*Vintage* Rob/Rachelle Interview

Here's one of my favorite interviews- it's with RPattz and Rachelle LeFevre. The question to Rob is "Name one of your flaws." Rob talks about his dandruff and Rachelle calls him on it, and points out how what should be a flaw ends up making him hotter than ever. It's funny and absolutely adorable.
