Foreign Fans Delight in all things "Twilight'

The Puget Sound Business Journal reports that foreigners trekking to the U.S. to vacation may be more interested in parking lots in the Pacific Northwest than monuments such as the Space Needle:

With the hit vampire film “Twilight” just released abroad, tourism boosters are preparing for a wave of foreign fans of the popular books and films set in the Olympic Peninsula logging town.

“‘Twilight’ is just getting to be a big thing overseas,” said Jeannie Barresi, who started a “Twilight” tour for her Colorado company Beyond Boundaries Travel. “The international market is coming.”

Seattle’s Convention and Visitors Bureau, Washington State Tourism and the Port of Seattle are teaming up to tout “Twilight” trips in Germany, Japan, France and the United Kingdom.
