About three things I was absolutely positive.
First, Stephenie Meyer was going to be in Tempe, AZ at an address I knew.
Second, there was a dress there that I wanted...and it wasn't going to be cheap.
And third, I was intently and tenaciously going to fight for it.
Stephenie was waiting for me at the edge of the stage with the dress.
She said, "It's nice to meet you". I said I am Alison. She asked if I was from one of the two warring sites (Twilight Lexicon and Twilight Moms; the story is priceless). I said no I am from Twifans.com and I am a new site and I took both of them out. She laughed and said that was funny. We talked a while more.
Poorer is right...hand out with cup on the street corner! lol

Ah, but well worth it, I'm sure! That's why I said your husband is a good man; mine would say, "You want to spend how much on WHAT?" I couldn't even get him to take me to a convention! :)
