Millions of fan signed a petition to stop Robert Pattinson from playing Edward Cullen when it was first announced that he would be cast as the lead in the small budget film Twilight. But something happened when filming for Twilight began; the fans that disliked him for the role instantly feel in love with him and forget all about the petition.
People from all walks of life became enthralled by the talented and handsome actor that they could not help but scream when he came on screen and they could not help Google him daily. So the question is, does Robert Pattinson have a spell on all of us?
The actor grew up in England and did not pursue a career in acting until he was fifteen years old. At that time, Rob became interested in theater and was cast in Barnes Theatre Company. His time at Barnes allowed him to flourish his acting skills and went on to play small roles in Ring of Nibelungs and Vanity Fair. 2003 turned out to be a good year for the up and coming actor when he landed the role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire alongside Daniel Radcliffe, Emily Watson and Rupert Grint.
Landing the role on Harry Potter was without a doubt his big break moment and what happened next was unexpected and would become unknown territory for the actor.
In many interviews, Robert humbly talked about the film and his newly found fame which only made fans love him more. When the movie premiered back in November, Robert Pattinson went from being a young up and coming actor to becoming a household staple.
So what happened? Why are we all so in love with him; is it his killer hair, his contagious smile or maybe his captivating acting? I am convinced that we have been all cast under the RPattz spell and we will not be released until the break of dawn!
I think I've reached the point where I've stopped trying to analyze it and instead I'm just enjoying the ride - wheeeeee!!! I really enjoy your blog - thanks!
ReplyDeleteMmmm... I agree wholeheartedly... I don't care WHY I'm in lustyland with him; as long as he keeps shooting me those bedroom eyes, it's ALL good. Oh, and thanks for the compliment! ;)
