Kristen on Music and Rob and making Music with Rob

Kristen Stewart spoke with Teen Vogue before flitting off to Canada and revealed that music was a driving force between her and her fellow Twilight cast members.

"Every member of the cast was musically inclined or interested," Kristen says. Robert even recently took the stage to belt out some tunes at the famed Hollywood nightlife spot Whisky A Go Go. Rob even used his fan's affectionate nickname Spunk Ransom! (I heart that!)

Like Rob, Kristen is an avid music fan. She sang and played the guitar for her role as Tracy in the indie hit “Into the Wild” in 2007. Her favorite groups include Radiohead, The Beatles, The Specials, Laura Marling, and Beck. And of course, Kristen's next project, portraying Joan Jett, is an endeavor that she's extremely excited to begin.

We've heard so much about the casting of Rob, but Kristen's audition wasn't a walk in the park. Her audition lasted four hours with Catherine Hardwicke before securing the role of Bella.

The chemistry between Kristen and Rob is one of the driving forces behind Twilight's insane popularity and Rob acknowledges a special bond with his castmate. "When I met Kristen, there was instant chemistry. She brought something out of me that I can't even explain," says the British hawtie.
