The Improper reports that Pattinson was greeted by throngs of screaming fans at Narita International Airport. The Twilight heartthrob will be joined by co-stars Kristen Stewart, 18, and Taylor Lautner, 17, at the film's Asian premiere.

Despite having a new director (Chris Weitz), Pattinson says the sequel's look and feel will be somewhat similar. "I think there’s going to be some continuity," he says. "But it’s weird, because they are shooting it in a different city [than the first film]."

Rob was surprised to learn that a release date had already been set for Eclipse (the sequel to New Moon). "I didn't even know that!" he exclaimed when told that Eclipse will be rolled out in U.S. theaters just seven months after New Moon.

Rob, who will be busy with both sequels over the next two years, expects that Breaking Dawn—the fourth and last installment in the Twilight book series—will also be adapted into a film. "Breaking Dawn is going to be at some point as well," he said. "I'm gonna be Twilighted out by the end of the year."
